Roll out the Red Carpet for Workflows
With Workflows, you can define dependencies between your models through. Workflows allow you to build a DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) from within the tool, letting you optimize interdependencies between data models.
Update on our Sources
On the S3 source, we have added support for JSON files. That is an upgrade from mere CSV files that you could work with, in the past.
We have added support for SSL encrypted connection for MySQL source. Your Data will now move in a more secure environment.
Auto Replay in Data Pipelines
We have introduced an Auto Replay feature in the Replay queue. Hevo now scans the replay queue every few minutes to check if the error that pushed data into the replay queue is fixed. Upon detecting that the error is taken care of, the system replays it back, making it easy for you to handle data in the replay queue! #ProblemSolved
Overall System Updates
Hevo’s throughput has been improved multifold. Let’s say, previously it took about 5 hours to ingest 5 million rows of data, now with the throughput improvements, it will only take 1 hour with the same set of resources. Yes, that’s a 5x improvement. *Pat on our back*
To make it easy for you to detect the source from which data was extracted from, we have added Data Lineage inside the source query for Models and Pipelines. Check it out!
Destinations tab has been moved to the settings tab. Why? Well, after interacting with a lot of you, we realized that adding destination is an infrequent activity. This feature is used more during tool set up and in a limited fashion on a daily basis. Hence, to improve your experience, we have moved it from the main navigation to the settings tab.
