Familiarizing with the Pipelines Interface

When you click Pipelines in the Asset Palette, the Pipelines List View is displayed. In this page, you can view the list of Pipelines created by you or your team, filter the results using Data Controls, and click on any Pipeline to open it in the Workbench.
The following sections highlight the main elements of the Pipeline List View and the Workbench.
Pipelines List View
Refer to the image and descriptions below to familiarize yourself with the components of the Pipelines List View. To close the List View, click on the X on the top right or anywhere in the page in the background.
The following table describes each of these components.
|1||Title Header||Displays the asset title PIPELINES along with the + CREATE PIPELINE button for creating a Pipeline.|
|2||Search Bar||Search for Pipelines by typing a partial or complete name of the Pipeline, the Source or Destination name or type it is created for, or the Pipeline number, in the Search Pipelines field.|
|3||Item Count||View the total number of Pipelines created by your team.|
|4||Data Controls||Select the Destination name or Pipeline status to filter the list of Pipelines.|
|5||Asset List||Displays the list of Pipelines created by the current user and can be refined based on the search string.|
|6||Pipeline Summary||Each row in the Asset List provides a brief summary of an existing Pipeline. The Pipeline Summary includes, from left to right:
- The Pipeline Priority. This is indicated by an upward arrow. Red arrow indicates a high priority Pipeline.
- The sequential serial number assigned to the Pipeline at the time of creation. For example, #3311.
- The name of the Pipeline.
- The Source from where the data is being fetched.
- The status of the Pipeline. A running Pipeline shows a green arrow while a paused Pipeline has an Orange arrow. The status can also be gathered from the PAUSE/RESUME buttons at the right end.
- The Destination where data is being loaded.
- Indicators. These are small icons that indicate any issues or failures in Pipeline jobs , Schema Mapper, or Events, respectively.
Click anywhere in a Pipeline Summary row to open the Pipeline in the Workbench. The following image highlights the main layout elements that are displayed and the actions you can perform in the page.
The table below describes these key elements of the page:
|1||Tools Bar||Provides links for Pipeline Overview, Transformations, Schema Mapper, Load Status, and Source Query.|
|2||Global Search||Click in the Search Anything field to open the Global Search dialog. You can search for anything, such as, Pipelines, Models, Workflows, and Destinations. Results matching the search string are displayed from all categories.|
|3||Summary Bar||Displays the:
- Pipeline number generated upon Pipeline creation.
- Pipeline name and the Source name.
- The Destination name and type.
- Status label to indicate whether the Pipeline is active or paused. You can click on the More icon to access the actions available for the Pipeline.
|4||Notification Bar||Displays any notification relating to the Pipeline, such as, the status of ingestion of Events during the initial data load.|
|5||Pipeline Activity||Provides a snapshot of the Pipeline activity including the number of Events ingested and loaded, and the latency experienced during this process.|
|6||Pipeline Jobs||Displays the jobs created to extract the data from the Source objects to the Destination. Indicators are displayed for any failed jobs, schema mappings, and Events.|
|-||API Details||Displayed only for Pipelines created with the Webhook Sources. It provides:
- The Webhook URL using which, you can push Events to Hevo based on any activity trigger in your Shopify account.
- Code snippets that you can use to send Events from the Shopify account to Hevo outside of the Pipeline schedule.
