Alerts (Edge)
The Alerts and Notifications system in Hevo Edge provides you visibility into the different stages of data replication by your Pipeline and other steps taken by Hevo based on your actions. The alerts are contextual and include actionable steps to help ensure reliability, minimize downtime, and reduce manual monitoring while also providing you with time-critical information for decision-making and issue resolution.
Hevo sends an alert whenever something requires your attention or intervention. By default, the alerts are displayed on the Hevo dashboard. You can also opt to receive them via e-mail and Slack.
Note: Currently, Hevo Edge does not support receiving alerts via Slack.
The Edge alerting system categorizes the alerts into:

Critical: These alerts contain details about incidents that affect the proper functioning of your Edge Pipelines and require action from you to address the issue.

Warning: These alerts contain details about non-vital incidents, such as a skipped job, and in most cases, do not require action from you.
The following tables contain the list of alerts sent by Hevo:
