An Event in Hevo is any fundamental unit of data that can be migrated from a Source system to a Destination database or data warehouse. For example, each row from your PostgreSQL Source is replicated as one Event in your Snowflake data warehouse. Another example of an Event is a record in the same Source.

Fetching of data from the Source is called ingestion of Events in Hevo, while replication of the ingested data into the Destination is referred to as loading of Events. Both these tasks together make up a Pipeline job.

The Job History tab in Pipeline Detailed View displays the details related to the Events processed in a Pipeline job. For example, the number of Events ingested for each Source object and the number of loaded or failed Events.
