Editing Edge Pipelines

Last updated on Nov 18, 2024

Edge Pipeline is currently available under Early Access. You can request access to evaluate and test its features.

Hevo allows you to edit the configuration of your Edge Pipeline and modify some of its settings. Currently, you can only change the Pipeline’s sync frequency.

The Edit Pipeline action also allows you to change the configuration of the objects included in the Pipeline. For more details, read Managing Objects in the Pipeline.

Changing the Sync Frequency

You can change your Edge Pipeline’s schedule to sync data at a higher or lower frequency based on the amount of data being ingested and or loaded. For example, you can :

  • Sync data at a lower frequency when you do not have much data coming from the Source, or,

  • Sync data at a higher frequency when you require your data in your Destination faster for downstream use.

The changed frequency is applied immediately and the next schedule runs at the new frequency in your current time zone. Suppose you change the sync frequency from one hour to two hours. Now, if your previous sync job ended at 11 AM, then the next sync job will run at 1 PM instead of noon.

Note: You can change the sync frequency at the Pipeline level only and not for individual objects.

To change your Pipeline’s sync schedule:

  1. In your Pipeline’s Summary bar, click EDIT.
