dbt™ Project and Model Run Statuses

Last updated on Feb 17, 2023

At this time, the dbt Coreā„¢ on Hevo is in BETA. Please reach out to Hevo Support or your account executive to enable it for your team.

Hevo assigns statuses to your dbt project and each model in the project to inform you of the progress and any action that you may need to take. You can filter and view your projects and models based on their status.

The following is the list of statuses and their meanings:

dbt Project Statuses

  • Active: The project is live and has not run yet or is scheduled to run.

  • Paused: The project and all the models in it are paused.

  • Running: The project run is in progress.

  • Successful: The project run is successful, and all the models in the project ran without failures.

  • Failed: The project run was unsuccessful as all the models that ran failed.

  • Partially Successful: The project run was partially successful. Only some models in the project ran successfully.

Model Statuses

  • Successful: The model run is completed without any failures.

  • Failed: The model ran with errors.

  • Paused: The model is paused.

  • Running: The model run is in progress.

  • Scheduled: The model is scheduled to run independently or as a part of a dbt project.
