Modifying the Target Configuration

You may want to modify a Target configuration post-Activation creation when you want to change the current authorized account being used or when the API token has expired for your Target. You can edit the following configurations for a Target:


Modifying the Target Name

In the Targets List View, select the Target to edit:

  • For OAuth-based Targets:

    1. Click the Edit ( Edit icon ) icon next to the Target name.

    2. Enter the desired name and click SAVE.

  • For API token-based Targets:

    1. Hover on the Settings ( Settings icon ) icon next to the Target name.

    2. In the hover window that appears, click the Edit ( Edit icon ) icon.

    3. Enter the desired name and click TEST & SAVE.


Modifying the Target Connection Settings

You can modify the connection settings for API token-based Targets.

To do this:

  1. Access the Edit Configuration page in one of the following ways:

    • From the Activations Detailed View:

      1. In the Target Details bar, hover on the Settings ( Settings icon ) icon next to the Target Object name.

      2. In the hover window that appears, click the Edit ( Edit icon ) icon.

    • From the Targets Detailed View:

      1. In the Target Summary bar, hover on the Settings ( Settings icon ) icon next to the Target name.

      2. In the hover window that appears, click the Edit ( Edit icon ) icon.

  2. In the Edit Connection Settings page, modify the required settings.

    If you do not want to proceed with the changes, click GO BACK to return to the Activations Detailed View.

  3. Click TEST & SAVE.
