Modifying the Target Configuration

You may want to modify a Target configuration post-Activation creation when you want to change the current authorized account being used or when the API token has expired for your Target. You can edit the following configurations for a Target:

The name. Read Modifying the Target Name.

The authorized account (for OAuth-based Targets such as Hubspot, Intercom and Salesforce). Read Target Account Reauthorization for the steps to do this.

The connection settings (for API token-based Targets such as Zendesk). Read Modifying the Target Connection Settings for the steps to do this.
Modifying the Target Name
In the Targets List View, select the Target to edit:

For OAuth-based Targets:

Click the Edit (
) icon next to the Target name.

Enter the desired name and click SAVE.

For API token-based Targets:
-
Hover on the Settings (
) icon next to the Target name.

In the hover window that appears, click the Edit (
) icon.

Enter the desired name and click TEST & SAVE.

Modifying the Target Connection Settings
You can modify the connection settings for API token-based Targets.
To do this:

Access the Edit Configuration page in one of the following ways:

From the Activations Detailed View:

In the Target Details bar, hover on the Settings (
) icon next to the Target Object name.

In the hover window that appears, click the Edit (
) icon.

From the Targets Detailed View:

In the Target Summary bar, hover on the Settings (
) icon next to the Target name.

In the hover window that appears, click the Edit (
) icon.

In the Edit Connection Settings page, modify the required settings.
If you do not want to proceed with the changes, click GO BACK to return to the Activations Detailed View.

Click TEST & SAVE.
