Creating an Activation Target
ON THIS PAGE
A Target in context of Hevo Activate is any Salesforce database you want to sync your Amazon Redshift data with. You can create a Target Salesforce database prior to creating an Activation, complete with the custom objects, or create one on-the-fly if you plan to sync the data with standard Salesforce objects only.
Creating an Activation Target
-
In the TARGETS tab of the ACTIVATE home page, click + CREATE TARGET. Or, if creating it from within an Activation creation flow, directly proceed to Step 2.
-
Click + ADD SALESFORCE ACCOUNT.
-
Select the Salesforce environment on which the database is hosted.
-
Log in to your Salesforce account.
-
Provide a Target Name and click CONTINUE.
You can view the new Target in the List View. If you were creating an Activation, you return to the Map Fields page.
