Error Summary

  • Hevo was unable to locate the database specified in the Destination configuration inside your Amazon Redshift cluster.

Potential Causes

  • The database does not exist in the Amazon Redshift cluster.

  • The database name is incorrect.

  • The database was deleted, renamed, or is not provisioned in your Redshift cluster.

  • The Destination configuration is correct, but temporary connectivity issues, such as short-term network interruptions or AWS maintenance, may prevent access from Hevo to the Amazon Redshift cluster.

Suggested Action(s)

  • Verify that the database exists and is provisioned in your Amazon Redshift cluster.

  • Ensure that the database name exactly matches the name in your Amazon Redshift cluster.

  • Confirm that the Amazon Redshift cluster and your database are online and accessible.

  • For temporary connectivity issues:

    • Check the Amazon Redshift cluster status in your AWS console for any maintenance or restart notifications.

    • Wait 3-5 minutes and try configuring the Amazon Redshift Destination again.

  • Contact your AWS administrator if the network and cluster availability issues persist.
