New and Changed Features

Pipelines

  • Disabling Pipelines after Seven Days of Failure

    • Hevo now disables Pipelines that remain in a Failed state for seven days and notifies all associated users and alert subscribers. This prevents repeated failed ingestion attempts from consuming resources in the Source and Destination systems, and ensures that the underlying issues are addressed before data ingestion continues.
  • Improved Handling of Pipeline Job Failures

    • Hevo has enhanced the retry mechanism for failed jobs in Pipelines with a sync frequency of one hour or more. Previously, when a job failed, data ingestion resumed only at the next scheduled run.

With this enhancement, when a job fails, Hevo schedules the next ingestion attempt based on a retry interval defined by the configured sync frequency of the Pipeline. This allows data ingestion to resume without waiting for the next scheduled run and ensures faster recovery from failures.

Refer to Retry Behavior on Job Failure for more information about how Hevo schedules retries after job failures.
