Pausing and Deleting a Pipeline

Pausing or deleting a Pipeline in Hevo is very easy. You can pause any Pipeline that is in Active state and later resume it. However, deletion is a permanent action.

To pause or delete the Pipeline, navigate to the Pipeline Details:

  1. Click PIPELINES in the Asset Palette to open the Pipelines List View.

  2. Search for and select the Pipeline you want to pause or delete.

  3. Perform the steps listed in the following sections, as needed.

Pausing a Pipeline

Most of the active Pipelines can be paused except Pipelines with streaming Sources like Google Drive, MailChimp, Github, Intercom, and Webhook. This is because Hevo listens for data from these Sources on a REST endpoint.

To pause the Pipeline:

  • Click the PAUSE button in the Pipeline Summary bar.

    Pause Pipeline

This changes the status of the Pipeline to PAUSED, and the PAUSE button changes to RESUME. Along with this, any task associated with the Pipeline is also paused.

    Resume Pipeline

  • Similarly, click RESUME to resume the Pipeline.

Deleting a Pipeline

A Pipeline can be deleted anytime with a few simple clicks. However, it is important to keep in mind that a Pipeline once deleted cannot be restored.

To delete the Pipeline:

  1. Click DELETE in the Kebab menu (Kebab icon) in the Pipeline Summary bar.

    Delete Pipeline button

  2. In the confirmation dialog that appears, click YES, DELETE THIS PIPELINE.

    Delete Pipeline
