My PostgreSQL database instance is public; however, I am not able to connect. What should I do?

If you have made your PostgreSQL database instance public, check the following:

  • Verify that the port number entered in the Configure your PostgreSQL Source page in Hevo is correct.

  • Verify that Hevo’s IP addresses for your region are whitelisted. Refer to the content for your PostgreSQL variant for steps to do this.

  • If you do not have the required privileges, you can invite another team member with the required privileges to set up the Pipeline. Read Inviting and Moderating Team Members.
