Selecting your Hevo Region
On This Page
The Hevo cloud instance is available in six regions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, namely, Frankfurt, Mumbai, N.Virginia, Oregon, Singapore and Sydney, and in N. Virginia on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The latter does not support the Databricks Destination currently. All regions offer all the features of the Hevo data platform. The Hevo Mumbai (India) region also offers an on-premise solution; please connect with the Hevo Sales team to know more.
Customers who signed up before Oct 31, 2022 can set up their account in any region where they want to create their Pipelines. They can use the app URL of their region to log in to their account.
For customers signing up after Oct 31, 2022, Hevo selects the region by default. However, they can switch the region at any time directly from the Hevo UI and create Pipelines in the region of their choice. These customers can also the use the app URL of any region to log in to their account.
Note: Since the data ingestion for a Pipeline takes more time than loading, the account is usually set up where your data lies. However, you can optimize on the Source or the Destination location, or select a different region altogether.
To connect Hevo directly to your databases or to your SSH tunnel server, you must whitelist the IP addresses of the region where your account is created. For example, let us suppose your Source applications exist in four locations and your Destination warehouse is in a fifth location, say, Asia, which is also where you choose to create your account. Then, all connections to your Sources and Destination will be formed from Asia. Therefore, you must whitelist the Hevo IPs for Asia region.
Refer to the following list for the app URLs and IP addresses of the different Hevo regions.
Asia
App URL: https://asia.hevodata.com/
Cloud Provider and Region: AWS, Singapore (ap-southeast-1)

Note: Hevo India instance is also available on-premise. Please connect with Hevo Sales to know more.
US
App URL: https://us.hevodata.com/
Cloud Provider and Region: AWS, Northern Virginia (us-east-1)

Verifying IP Address Whitelisting
If the Hevo IP addresses are successfully whitelisted, when you provide your Source or Destination settings in Hevo and test the connection, you are able to connect successfully.
