Error Message Text(s) User doesn’t have permission to access customer. Note: If you’re accessing a client customer, the manager’s customer ID must be set in the ‘login-customer-id’ header.

Error Summary

This error occurs when the user configured in your Pipeline does not have access to the account from which data is to be ingested.

Potential Causes

  • The user does not have the necessary permissions to access the Google Ads account.

  • When accessing the Google Ads account through a manager account:

    • The user does not have access to the manager account.

    • The user has access to the manager account, but the client account from which data is to be ingested is not linked to the manager account.

  • The Google Ads account is canceled.

  • The OAuth access token expired or was changed.
