Modifying a dbt™ Project

You can modify your dbt project to change the:

Edit dbt Project

Modifying a dbt project does not affect its schedule. Read Modifying the Schedule of your dbt Project if you want to change the schedule.


Modifying dbt Repository Settings

The dbt repository settings that you can modify are displayed based on how you have connected to your Git repository. Refer to the sections below for the details.

Connection Method: HTTPS

If you have connected to your Git repository using HTTPS, you can modify the following:

  • Git HTTPS: The HTTPS URL of your dbt project repository.

  • Git Branch: The branch in your Git repository containing your dbt project.

  • Personal Access Token: The secret value associated with your dbt project repository. For GitHub, only classic personal access tokens are supported.

  • dbt™ Core Version: The dbt™ Core version used by your dbt projects.

Connection Method: GitHub OAuth

If you have connected to your Git repository using GitHub OAuth, you can modify the following:

  • Authentication method: Switch from Connect using HTTPS to GitHub OAuth and vice versa.

  • Authorized Account: The GitHub account containing your dbt project repository.

  • Select Repository: The Git repository containing your dbt projects.

  • Branch: The branch in your Git repository that contains your dbt project and models.

  • dbt™ Core Version: The dbt™ Core version used by your dbt projects.
