New and Changed Features

Security Enhancements

  • Support for TLS 1.2 and Above

    • Enhanced data security to support TLS protocol version 1.2 and above. TLS 1.0 and 1.1 are being deprecated as these are out-of-date protocols, and do not support modern cryptographic algorithms. These protocols contain security vulnerabilities that may be exploited by cybercriminals.

Sources

  • Capturing Deletes in Shopify

    • Enhanced the integration to support the replication of deletes in the Product object in the Source. This feature is implemented for all new and existing Pipelines.

      Read Data Replication.

  • UTF-16 Encoding Format for File-based Sources

    • Provided support for ingesting data for CSV files having UTF-16 encoding format. Hevo now ingests both UTF-8 and UTF-16 encoded CSV data for file-based Sources such as Amazon S3, FTP / SFTP, and Google Drive.

User Experience

  • Improved Access to Content

    • Revamped our Documentation site to improve the overall experience. The site is re-organized to help you quickly and efficiently access the required information. New content has been added to explain the product functionality more comprehensively.

Fixes and Improvements

Sources

  • Improved Support for Multidimensional Arrays in PostgreSQL

    • Enhanced the ingestion process to ingest multidimensional array data in the same format as received from PostgreSQL. This change applies to all new and existing Pipelines.
  • Quicker Access to Historical Data for HubSpot

    • Implemented historical load parallelization for new Pipelines. Hevo now divides the historical data into multiple parts, and then ingests these parts simultaneously. This enables you to have quicker access to your historical data.

The number of parts are decided based on the following factors:

      • Concurrent API Request limits and Total API Request limits imposed by the Source API.

      • Resource constraints of the system, as dividing the data into too many parts can slow down the ingestion process.

  • Reduced Quota Consumption for Mailchimp

    • Optimized the quota consumption for all new and existing Pipelines created with the Mailchimp Source by ingesting and loading only new and changed data in case of Full Load objects.

      Read Mailchimp.

User Experience

  • Segregated Display of Target Objects in Activate

    • Enhanced the user interface to display the Target objects available for selection from the drop-down while creating an Activation as Standard or Custom objects.

Read Select the Data to be Synchronized.
